Landlord and Tenant
We regularly act for landlords in relation to claims to recover possession of their property and lecture to the local regional group of ARLA (the Association of Residential Letting Agents). This aspect of our website is specifically limited due to the fact that we do not wish to disclose details of our methods to our opponents.
Our website is primarily limited to issues relating to private residential accommodation let under a tenancy agreement, as this is the majority of our work. However, we are experienced in all aspects of residential tenancies.
We provide a streamlined system for landlords, designed to recover possession of their property as fast as possible to minimise any loss they may sustain once a tenant breaches the terms of the tenancy. We can also assist with pursuing the tenant for damage to the property and arrears of rent.
Most claims brought by landlords for damages are below the small claims limit of £5,000. If they are not part of a possession claim then they will be allocated to the small claims track. Costs in the small claims track are extremely limited and you will not recover the cost of using a solicitor to pursue the claim. Where we are instructed to obtain possession of the property we provide a free guide on bringing the claim for rent arrears or damages against the tenant as part of the package.
Our terms and conditions are specific to landlords and/or letting agents and to access these you will need to ring us. Alternatively you can e-mail requesting these using the link at the bottom of the page.
